Who We Are

History of PGI

PGI was founded in 2009 by an Atlanta 8th grader, Ebony Natale. Ebony saw a huge gap between girls knowing little about self-confidence, personal hygiene, or what it meant to be a Prettie Girl. She decided to create an impact that would help young ladies learn to care for and value themselves. Prettie Girl Impact started as a small group of young ladies who would participate in monthly self-confident activities and community involvement. But the vision for PGI was bigger and longing to create a profound impact! As of 2017 Prettie Girl Impact became Prettie Girl Impact Corporation, a now 501(c)(3) youth assistance non-profit organization for young ladies, providing product essentials and hygiene education needed to live a comfortable life as a young female.

Steps to Success

In 2017, PGI solidified partnership with Ray of Hope Foster Care, Inc in efforts to support all of the young ladies’ hygiene needs through our signature hygiene bags and hygiene education.

PGI started the New Year of 2018 on a roll! We were able to officially solidify partnership with Atlanta Public Schools. This upcoming school year, PGI will be partnering with the schools on implementing our Signature Hygiene Box. The Signature Hygiene Boxes will be placed in the nurse’s’ office, allowing the girls to utilize the products for their hygiene needs during school hours. For any girls who needs further assistance outside of school will then benefit from our Referral Program.
